THE AUSTRALIAN BAMBOO NETWORK
PO BOX 557, Yass, New South Wales, AUSTRALIA 2582

Welcome to the Australian Bamboo Network, Australia's first online bamboo propagation and cultivation guide.
The ABN is a research organisation formed to promote the cultivation and use of the over 1200 species of bamboo known to exist throughout the world.
Bamboos have been used as useful plants for thousands of years, and today are a cheap and sustainable source of building material, food, and of course, decorative ornamental garden plants.
The Network issues a subscription based publication which is delivered by E-mail or standard postal services to anywhere in the world. To find more information about bamboo varieties, and where to obtain them, you can use the following INDEX to search this site, and connect to bamboo sites around the planet.
